Stephanie Pollard, 59, of Brighton, passed away January 16th, 2021, in Brighton CO. Stephanie was born in March of 1962 in Brighton, CO, to Arthur L. and Philomena “Minnie” (Schenfeld) Pollard. She leaves behind her mother Minnie Norton, siblings Bill Pollard, Larry and his wife Angela Pollard, Donnie Pollard, nephews Kalen Pollard, Luke Pollard, Grant and his wife Jasmin Pollard, Seth Pollard, nieces Jennifer and her husband Josh Weber, Lynnette Pollard, Abby and her husband Anthony Solorio, as well as a number of other relatives. She is preceded in death by her sister Linda Pollard, grandparents Jack and Beth Pollard, Stephen and Catherine Schenfeld, father Arthur L. Pollard, her stepfather Dennis L. Norton and her brother Art Pollard. Stephanie lived a life that was filled with a number of challenges and obstacles that prevented her from experiencing many of the aspects of life that much of us enjoy regularly. She loved her family, enjoyed the holidays, looked forward to a good meal with dessert, and was quite content with the simple things of life. Extravagance did not impress her as she could be just as thrilled and satisfied with a hamburger from her favorite fast-food restaurant as she would a holiday meal with all the sides. Rarely would one hear a complaint from her as she was typically accepting of her surroundings and the limitations her life gave her. She was truly content and asked little of those around her except for the things that she perhaps was unable to do for herself, but even then, it was rare for her to ask. Stephanie will be missed and her endearing spirit, and tenacity to overcome, will continue to be a virtue worthy of emulation by anyone who knew her. A memorial service for Stephanie will be held at the Abundant Life Center Church 650 E. Bridge Street in Brighton, CO on Sunday, February 6th at 2:00 pm.
