Madison I. Middleton was born on June 14, 1991 in Denver, Colorado to parents Thomas Locke Middleton and Becky Taylor Middleton. She passed away on December 19, 2010 in Platteville, Colorado. She is survived by her brother Austin Middleton and numerous other loving relatives and friends. A Memorial Service is on Thursday, December 23, 2010 at 2:30PM at Brighton United Methodist Church. Madison will be deeply missed by all who knew her and loved her. She will be forever in our hearts and in our minds. We love you Madison. Arrangements under the direction of Olinger Highland Mortuary & Cemetery, Thornton, Colorado. As you may know, Madison entered the Rotary International Youth Exchange her junior year of high school and was able to travel abroad for a year to represent our country. She met and became friends with many different kids and Rotarians from around the world and this truly helped define who she was. The Rotary Youth Exchange is an outstanding program which has "a goal to promote the advancement of international understanding, goodwill & peace at the person to person level" and is for high school students, ages 16-18, interested in living and studying abroad for a year. In lieu of flowers we have set up a scholarship fund: Donations to Rocky Mountain Rotary Youth Exchange / Madison Middleton Scholarship Fund: RMRYE, C/O Kimberly Armitage, 6533 So. Zeno Court, Aurora, CO 80016-1145. A Thank You card and receipt for the donation will follow and is 100% fully tax deductible. Thank You for all your thoughts, wishes and prayers for our family.

Hi Hunny, I don't think I will ever come to terms with this loss. All I know is I now have a beautiful guardian angel watching over me. We grew up together, staying up late, girl talk, and of course the gummy bears. I will always miss you. My condolences go out to your family, and to the rest of your friends who are blessed to hold a piece of you in their heart. Words can't describe how much you mean to me. I never got to say goodbye, but I will see you again one day soon. Sleep with angels Madison.

Dear Becky, Tom, and Austin, We learned of your loss yesterday, and our hearts are very heavy. Madison was a bright and beautiful part of our lives at Sacred Heart. She was a special friend to Galen, truly a child of laughter, love, and light, and we are so sad for your loss. We send you prayers for strength and comfort at this time, and know that there are many more of us holding your family close in our thoughts at this time. With love and condolences, Nina Meek and family

I remember when Madison was such a good friend to Jimmy in 2nd grade when I worked with him. I will never forget how caring she was, she certainly touched my heart at South Elementary. I will never forget her. Thanks Madison for your kindness. Mrs. Lucero
