Marrianne Hugh born Marrianne Alexander and also know by those who loved her as Mary, Aunt Mary, Mar, Sis, Mom and her favorite name of all Nana gained her wings on July 13, 2021 at the age of 72 years young. Born to Margaret Allison in Roswell, New Mexico (this explains so much) on February 28, 1949. She attended Lincoln High School. She married her best love Gary Hugh on December 5, 1981 in Denver, Colorado. She was the best little seamstress this side of Denver and could sew anything without a pattern. She worked for many places sewing away including Athalon, Western Wear, Jericho and her personal favorite Unique Headwear sewing hats with her best buddy Georgia. Marrianne loved to crochet and collect Madame Alexander Dolls. She crocheted a picture depicting the last supper for 4 different family members just by looking at a 2x3 picture and counting the stitches. She loved to camp and fish and she loved Horror movies as well. She had a heart of gold and would help anyone in need if she could. She loved Irish whiskey and longed to return to Ireland.

She is survived in death by her loving husband Gary, her little brother Marvin, her daughter Kathy, her sons Tony and Gary, her precious grandchildren Branden, Justen, Autumn, Devin, McKayla, and Michael. She is also survived by her niece Pamela Logan, her grand nephew Kevin Coleman, and her great grandniece Abby and Grandnephew Wyatt as well as her loving cousins Barbie, Larry, Valerie, Jimmy, Carol, Ed, Melody, Wayne, Art, Matt, Harmony and their families.

She is preceded in death by her newborn son Christopher, her sister Mildred, her mother Margie, Aunt Florence, Aunt Dorothy, father in law Bill and her cousin Hap. Grandma Mary was also sure to meet her at the gate.

I remember coming across an old Madame Alexander Christmas angel doll and buying it because of you. It sat wrapped in a box for years until one Christmas I was able to give it to you in person. You were so happy and I am thankful for that day. It is because of you that I learned how strong the women in our family are and I know you’re surrounded by them all and having a wonderful reunion! Much love to Kathy and Gary.

Momma was always so fiery! We fought hard and loved harder. She was the greatest mom and Nan ever. She loved her grandbabies and her Jimmy more than anything in the world! Fly high, cause trouble and I will see you on the other side Mom!!!!
