Mary Lynn Bridgewater

Mary Lynn (Tanner) Bridgewater. Born in Laramie, WY, April 6, 1933; died in Northglenn, CO, March 7, 2025. Daughter of Robert Lynn & Mary Lucile "Lu" Tanner. Raised in Red Buttes, WY. Brighton, CO, High School graduate, 1951. Bachelor of Arts in Business Education (1955) and Master of Arts in Business Education (1958) from Colorado State College of Education in Greeley. Northglenn, CO, resident since 1969. Lifelong lover of teaching. Taught typing and shorthand at Fort Collins High School, 1955 - 1961. Taught typing in Adams County Adult Education Program, 1970 - 1993. Dedicated and loving daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother. Volunteered as Little League Team Mother, Northglenn High School Band Boosters President, Crossroads Church Vacation Bible School helper, and Kindergarten Room Mother. Master documenter of family history through scrapbooks (photos, souvenirs, etc). Survived by son, Russell (Polly) Bridgewater (son Donald D); and daughter, Donnalynn (Tom) Hunter (children Tommy, Taylor, Alex, Tanner, Nicholas, Lauren). Preceded in death by husband, Donald R Bridgewater; sister, Betty Manning; and great-granddaughter, Taytum Hunter-Bullock.

A visitation will be held Monday, March 31, 2025, 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Olinger Highland Mortuary, 10201 Grant St, Thornton. A second visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, 11:00 am - 12:00 noon at Crossroads Community Center, 10451 Huron St, Northglenn. Funeral service Tuesday, April 1, 2025, 12:00 noon - 1:00 pm at Crossroads Community Center, Northglenn. Pink attire encouraged. Graveside service Tuesday, April 1, 2025, 2:00 pm - 2:30 pm, Olinger Highland Cemetery, Thornton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association or Denver Rescue Mission.
