Mary Helen Hernandez

Born on August 4, 1938, in Gill, Colorado, Mary was the beloved daughter of Magdaleno and Josephina. She was raised in Kersey, Colorado, alongside her siblings. She was preceded in death by her siblings: baby Maria, Manuel, Joe, Ray, Betty Vargas, Tillie Carpio, Angie Rolla, and Doris Garcia. She is survived by her sister, Patsy Cornejo.

On November 23, 1957, Mary married the love of her life, Frank Hernandez. Together they built a loving family and shared many cherished years. Mary was a devoted mother to her three children: Frank (Bernadette) Hernandez, JoAnn (Jim) Dominguez, and Christine (Timothy) Lovato.

Mary was a proud and loving grandmother to Manuel Hernandez, Anthony Hernandez, Nicole Luna, Jessica Prince, Frankie Hernandez, Alisha Dominguez, Vannessa Berrueto-Ramos, Alexis Lovato, and Aaron Lovato. She was also blessed with numerous great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her beloved great-grandchild, Dominique Marie Hernandez.

Mary will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her strength, and the kindness she shared with everyone around her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and devotion that will continue to live on through the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family and friends.
