Michael Dean Dahmer, age 77, of Commerce City, Colorado, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2026. Born on April 10, 1948. Michael lived a full, meaningful life marked by love, family, laughter, and resilience.
A proud graduate of Adams City High School, Michael went on to serve his country in the Navy with honor. His commitment to duty and strong sense of responsibility carried through every part of his life—especially as a father, brother, and grandfather.
Michael had a simple yet joyful spirit. He loved relaxing with a cold beer in hand and a cigarette nearby, sharing stories and laughter with the people he loved most. His humor, especially his unforgettable “dad jokes,” could light up any room and bring smiles to all who knew him.
Family was Michael’s greatest passion. He was truly the rock of his family—steady, supportive, and always giving of himself. He cherished every Christmas gathering, creating memories filled with warmth and laughter, traditions that will live on even after the challenges of recent years.
Michael is survived by his loving brothers James, Alvin, and Steve; his two children, Christine and Steven; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. His strength, laughter, and love will continue to inspire all of them.
Michael’s life reminds us that love, humor, and dedication define what it means to truly live. He will be deeply missed, yet forever remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
