Born on November 4, 1958, in Arvada, Colorado, Michael spent his childhood enjoying the outdoors. He loved playing football and treasured camping and fishing trips with his family. He graduated from Arvada West High School in 1977 and carried the values of hard work and dedication throughout his life.
Michael was known for his strong work ethic and unwavering commitment to providing for his family. He began his career with General Mills before later becoming a truck driver, where he worked for Whole Foods. No matter the job, he took pride in his work and earned the respect of those around him.
Outside of work, Michael found joy in the things he loved most. He was the happiest casting a fishing line, spending time shooting with his daughters, cheering on the Denver Broncos, watching Nascar races and attending rodeos with his daughters and grandchildren. One of his favorite traditions was visiting the National Western Stock Show each year. He also had a special place in his heart for bears and German Shepherds.
Above all else, Michael was a man of deep faith. He loved reading his Bible, listening to Sunday sermons, and living according to his Christian beliefs. His faith guided the way he treated others-with kindness, generosity, and compassion.
Michael is survived by his beloved daughter, Jessica and Amber, and his cherished grandchildren, Madison, Mason, and Ava. They were the greatest blessings in his life, and he loved them with all his heart.
Those who knew Michael will remember him for his quick sense of humor, his kind heart, his dedication to the people he loved, and his willingness to help anyone in need. He was the kind of man who would do anything for his family and friends without expecting anything in return.
Michael’s passing has left a tremendous hole in the hearts of all who loved him. While he will be deeply missed, his love, faith, strength, and the countless memories he created will love on in the lives of those who were blessed to know him.
He will be forever loved, forever remembered, and never forgotten.
