Mireille Audet

June 16, 1990October 11, 2020

On Sunday October 11th 2020, Mireille Audet passed away at Chatfield Reservoir lake close to the city of Denver. She was surrounded by precious friends, enjoying one of her numerous outdoor activities in the beautiful state of Colorado, where she absolutely loved living.

She was a wonderful daughter, a fantastic friend, and a very compassionate human being.

She was the most magnetic person and a beam of light that touched and lifted up the spirits of everyone she ever met.

She is survived by her parents (Ruth and Guy), her brother (Louis), and her love (Matt).

Due to Covid, the family has decided to postpone the funeral ceremony to 2021.

Mireille was born in Guatemala and her first name was picked because it rhymes with the French word "Soleil", which means sunshine. This is exactly what she represented to all the people who had the privilege to be a part of her life.

Au revoir, Precious angel

To her family, friends, loved ones and her boyfriend Matt, I send you my deepest condolences. I met Meme at Electric Forest Music Festival and immediately bonded with her. When she found out I was from Montreal, QC she was so ecstatic to let me know she had family there and to speak with me in french. We stayed in touch ever since that day and I had a smile on my face every time we spoke. She will be greatly missed by many but will always stay in our hearts. Xox

Ma belle Mireille,
Comment oublier ton merveilleux sourire belle enfant !

Audet Family,
I will always remember Meme’s laugh and how full of love she was. Some of my best memories growing up were with her. I’m glad I was able to see her a few months ago when she visited San Diego and able to make more memories with her recently. She will forever be in my heart and I know every one else’s whose lives she touched.

To Meme's family and friends,
You don't know me, but my daughter, Cassie Martin, was a close college friend of Meme's. My condolences for all of you. She was loved by Cassie and many other friends and will be dearly, dearly missed. It is just not fair to say goodbye to your beautiful young daughter, sister, and friend. I will remember you in my prayers for strength, comfort and peace.
Sincerely, Cynthia Martin

Guy, Ruth, and Louis-

I was absolutely heartbroken when I heard of Mimi's passing. Mimi shaped my childhood. It would have been a much different, less adventurous and bright without Mimi. I will never forget Mimi and Louis teaching me all the tricks they learned at Geronimo Circus camp, and the shows we put on in the basement of your home with razor scooters. We watched Spice World until we knew every word of it. Mimi was an amazing piano player and I loved watching her play. I will never forget that special perfume bottle she had that she loved so much. Thank you for always being so welcoming. She showed the love to others just like you all do. She will be greatly missed. Sending all the love your way!

Guy, Ruth, & Louis.
Hearing the news of Meme’s passing was devastating. My entire high school life revolved around her and our other friends, we were always at your home and so many memories were made. I feel so blessed to have had that time with her and enjoyed seeing her new life in Colorado and adventures on Facebook. My heart hurts so much for all of you. She was so loved. I’ll continue to pray for you all - prayers for strength, comfort, and guidance during this tough time. Much love to you all.

Dearest Guy, Ruth and Louis,
The Delaney family is heartbroken to hear of the loss of your sweet and beautiful Mimi. We send our deepest condolences.

Nick will always remember swinging with Mimi while listening to the Pocahontas soundtrack. The many adventures swimming, jumping on the trampoline, riding bikes, water balloon fights, making beaded lizards, having lemonade stands and staying out 'late' together (until the street lights came on) she would always share her Luigi's Italian ice with me 😄 most of my favorite childhood memories were shared with Mimi. She was always laughing or smiling, she had a heart of gold. I will always remember her this way. Sending love to you all ❤ 'Batman Nick'
