Monica “Mona” Della Espinoza of Broomfield, CO passed away on July 31, 2025 at the age of 77. They were born on July 11th, 1948 in Denver, CO where they grew up with parents Helen Mary Chaves and Joe Anaya, siblings Maryann, Rudy, Linda, Little John, Eric, Jimmy and Zach.
Mona worked as a CNA in the healthcare industry for twenty years. She was actively involved in many different hobbies including swimming, reading, gambling and loved the Denver Broncos. She was not only a happy, loving and generous woman, she was also very caring and loyal.
She is preceded in death by their her parents Helen and Joe, siblings Maryann, Rudy, Eric and Jimmy and two brothers-in-law Tom and Vince.
She is survived by her spouse Felix Espinoza, children Mario (Tanya) and Felix Jr. (Catrina), her five grand children Dante, Elena, Madison, Milania, Mikal, and two great grandchildren Leland and Emelia.
Family and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Service at Olinger Highland Mortuary- Heritage Hall on Friday August 8th at 10am, the committal service at 11am and a reception from 11:30am to 1:30pm held at the Funeral Home Honor West room.
