Neal W. Koch was born June 8,1934 to Walter A. Koch and Muriel (Vahldick)Koch in Denver, Colorado. Neal Koch grew up near Eastlake, Colorado and attended Eastlake Elementary School through eighth grade. He went to Cathedral High School and finished high school at Adams City High where he was sports editor. He attended college at CU Boulder.
Neal started working at a catering business and at the Post Office as a letter carrier. He also served in National Guard for 8 years. Neal worked for the Post Office for thirty-six years at the Denver Terminal Annex downtown, and helped build the General Mail Processing Center. He retired in 1989, during his retirement he blessed family and friends.
Neal had many interests throughout his life. He was an active member in the Good Luck 4-H club, and won a trip to Washington D.C. His many interests included: The American Jersey Cattle Club, Colorado Aquarium Society, Jefferson County Republicans, Vocational Education Association, he was an avid Bronco Avalanche,Rockies fan. He loved opera, theater, arts, trains and fine dining. Neal donated to multiple charities.
Neal valued his many friends he made during his life.
