

Norman G Funk born June 2, 1930 went to be with our Lord January 11, 2016. Norman was born in Yuma Colorado to George and Cleo Funk the youngest of three children. He was raised in Yuma came to Denver in 1947 and finished High School at East High.
He drove ambulance for Roach Ambulance in Denver before starting work at Gates Rubber Company in the fall of 1952. He worked for Gates as a Calendar Operator until his retirement in February of 1992.
He married JoAnn Schauermann August 24, 1956 and they had two Children Natasha Lynn and Norman Kip. He was active in his church Good Shepherd Presbyterian and Scouting acting as Chaplin for Pioneer District in Colorado he served in the Scouts for 18 years but was never a Boy Scout. Sat on the Eagle Board of Review for 10 years passing countless young men to the rank of Eagle. He was also active in his daughters Campfire activities being brave enough to chaperone, with his wife JoAnn a trip of 8 teenage girls rafting down the Green River for 7 days.
He was proceeded in death by his wife JoAnn and both his parents. He leaves behind his wife Marilyn M Funk his daughter Natasha his son Kip (Jill). Three grandchildren Jessica LaFever (Lewis) William and Rachel Funk. One great grandchild Lauren Jade LaFever.
