

Pamela Denise Gutenberg, 70, passed away peacefully at her home on April 28, 2025 surrounded by her loving daughter, Rhonda, sister Barbara and niece Jade. Pamela courageously battled Stage 4 liver cancer with grace and strength.
Pamela was born on September 1, 1954 in Great Falls, MT, to Mary Jane Flynn and Irvin LeRoy Gutenberg. She graduated from Littleton High School and went on to dedicate over 40 years of service at King Soopers before retiring. Pamela spent most of her adult life in the Denver Metro area, primarily in Thornton, with time also being spent living in Northglenn, Broomfield and Littleton. She married Joe Petersen and later Jerry Smith.
Pamela was a devoted mother of two children: Anthony “Tony” Louis Petersen, 49, Omaha, NE and Rhonda Rae Donohue, 46, Keenesburg, CO (m. Steven Donohue)
Pamela was a loving grandmother to four grandchildren: Taylor Donohue (Jessica) of Oak Harbor, Washington, Derek Donohue of Thornton, CO, Caitlynn Donohue of Keenesburg, CO and Vincent Donohue of Keenesburg, CO.
Pamela is survived by her sister, Barbara Holtz (Brian) of Great Falls, MT, brother Leroy Gutenberg of Great Falls, MT and sister Kathy Muzzana of Portland, OR. She leaves behind two nephews, Scott Harrell and A.J. Stawinski and niece, Jade Sharma (Vinay) she also had 3 great nephews and 1 great niece.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Irvin LeRoy Gutenberg (2007) and Mary Jane Flynn (2017.)
A public visitation will be held on May 5th from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at Olinger Highland Mortuary & Cemetery. All friends and family are welcome to attend and honor the memory of this incredible woman who touched so many lives.
