Paul J. Duran

Paul J. Duran, age 88, of Denver, Colorado passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2023. He was born in Vaughn, New Mexico. He was married to Pearl Sena. Throughout his life Paul worked as a Banquet waiter. He resided in Denver Colorado from 1956 - 2023, living alone in the Court House apartments for over 20 years. Paul enjoyed watching sports, his favorite was Football and watching the Raiders. Paul had 5 children, Gilbert (Robin), Rose Mary Duran, Leroy Duran, Diane Duran, Paul Duran Jr. (Karen). He also had 6 grandchildren, Nanette Duran Perez, Leroy Duran Jr., Daniel Barrientos II (Allison), Patrick Lopez, Jessie Lopez, Chad Duran. Paul had 9 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his son Leroy Duran, Mother Barbarita Herrera-Duran, his father Santos Duran, 5 brothers and 2 sisters. A rosary service for Paul will be held Monday, April 3, 2023 at 11:30 AM at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 9371 Wigham St., Thornton, CO 80229, followed by a Funeral mass at 12:00 PM. In lieu of flowers please make a memorial donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or your favorite charity.
