

He graduated high school in Sterling, Colorado then joined the United States Air Force, serving 4 years. He found his career working for many years as an IBM engineer in the Denver area before retirement.
He married Rebecca “Becky” Gold on October 7, 1996. They moved to Grand Junction in 1998. During that time, Paul faithfully studied the bible and taught many Sunday school classes. He faithfully attended Victory Life Church in Grand Junction, Colorado. He was a much-loved teacher for many years.
Paul loved Becky and faithfully served as her caretaker until she passed away in July of 2022. Paul was witty, smart, and always ready for a debate. He enjoyed the latest and greatest techie toys, keeping up with new computers and updated software. He loved his dogs, too.
He is survived by his loving twin sister Pauline Ruiz, daughter Geraldine Archuleta, sons Steve Gold, Jim Gold, 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Becky, and his parents, Isaac and Cecelia Gold.
