

A proud veteran, Paul served honorably in the U.S. Navy as a Yeoman Seaman Apprentice (YNSA). For his dedication, Paul was awarded the Navy Expeditionary Medal and the Sea Service Deployment Ribbon.
After his military service, Paul built a meaningful civilian life. He found great joy in creating memories with family and friends, who were his pride and joy. His many hobbies included watching sports and spending time with his granddaughter.
More than anything, Paul will be remembered for his sense of humor, ability to embellish any story, childlike sense of wonder, and being a master of creative engineering. His legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched with his love, wisdom, and unwavering support.
Paul is survived by his beloved spouse, Donna Newman; five children, Danielle Newman, Paul G. Newman, Jonathan Newman, Thomas (Jordyn) Newman, and Jordan (Shay) Newman; granddaughter, Charlotte Newman; father, Lawrence Newman; and two brothers, Scott (Diane) Newman and Ron (Paula) Newman. Paul was preceded in death by his mother, Christine Newman.
A Celebration of Life honoring Paul will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2026 at 10:00 am at Olinger Highland, located at 10201 Grant St, Thornton, CO 80229. This event will include military honors rendered by the Navy. A reception will follow from 11:00 am-1:00 pm. Afterwards, a committal ceremony will take place at Ft. Logan National Cemetery at 2:00 pm.
Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that his love and memory will remain with us forever. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
