Perry Charles Schumacher, born on July 11, 1940, in Ridgeview, South Dakota, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home on July 27, 2026, at the age of eighty-six. Perry was an honored Veteran of the Army National Guard and US Air Force. A beloved brother, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who touched the lives of many.
Music held a special place in Perry's heart, especially the songs of Johnny Cash and Dolly Parton. The joy and comfort he found in music reflected his spirit and will forever be remembered by those who knew and loved him. Just as those melodies live on, so too will the treasured memories, laughter, and love he shared with his family and friends. Services at Fort Logan National Cemetery to be announced.
