Phillip Duane Salee was born to Ronald and Darlene Salee on June 17th 1960 in Bloomington, Indiana. Phillip passed away peacefully at his home on October 15th 2019 at the age of 59 years 4 months and 2 days. Phillip and his family moved to Sheridan from Florida in 1978 where he took a job with a construction company. Phillip met Audrey Warrington shortly after moving to Sheridan. In 1983 they were married and made their home in Littleton Colorado to begin their family that included sons Phillip Jr., Jeremy and Adam.
In 1995 Phillip retired from the state of Colorado from injuries he had received throughout the years. Once retired, Phillip kept working on small projects in his garage. In 2017 with the boys grown and on their own, Phillip and Audrey decided to sell their home and bought an RV and travelled throughout many states. After 1 year of traveling, he and Audrey began to miss being with their families -- especially their grandchildren -- and decided to take a job at Central City KOA Campground where they had the best of both worlds up to the time of his death.
