Priscilla Olivama Aragon

Priscilla Olivama Aragon, beloved mother of 2 children, Derrek and Mathew Aragon, and 2 grandchildren, Jacob Gabel and Isaac Aragon, passed away in her home in Arvada CO on July 12th, 2025. Finally at Peace and with the Lord.

She was born in 1940 to Edumenio (Eddie) Ortiz and Adelaida Gallegos Ortiz, living in Colorado her whole life. She so loved being on the family farm in Capulin CO; in the San Luis Valley and often spoke of fond memories there with her sister Luray Ortiz Delgado and brother Thomas Ortiz.

Priscilla was a devoted mother, and a teacher of 35+ years in the Denver Public School System, where she was revered by all whom had the blessed opportunity to know her. The love and support she provided to her family, friends, and students will never be forgotten; as it has changed all our lives for the better.

The Visitation Vigil will be on July 22nd, 2025 at the Olinger Highland Mortuary Chapel, 10201 Grant St., Thornton CO from 5pm thru 8pm, with a Rosary at 7pm. Flowers are welcome.

The Funeral Mass with be held on July 23rd, 2025 at the Spirit of Christ Catholic Community Church, 7400 W. 80th Ave., Avada CO at 11 AM, with a luncheon reception immediately following at the church, provided by the Touch Ministry there. We will be leaving the church at 1 pm for the 2 pm Committal Service at Ft Logan Cemetery. Map with directions to Ft. Logan Staging Area "C" provided at the church.
