

He is survived by his loving wife, Valerie Lovato; his son, Nicholas Apolinar (Valerie); and his daughters, Angelina (Nathaniel) and Annabella Lovato. He is also survived by his brothers Gary Lovato, Albert Moya Jr. (Marc), and Adonis Garcia, as well as his beloved pets Paco, Gizmo, and Rico.
Ralph was preceded in death by his mother, Viola Lovato; his father, Gary Garcia; and his stepfather, Albert Moya.
Throughout his adult life, Ralph held various careers, with his primary profession being a jeweler.
He loved to play musical instruments, dance to his favorite songs, fish, ride motorcycles, and gamble with his wife Valerie, his mother Viola, brothers, and friends. Ralph also enjoyed his cartoons—especially South Park and Family Guy—movies, spending time with his family, and being a fair-weather sports fan.
Ralph had a deep love for animals, always showing kindness and affection toward every pet he had and every animal he met. His furry companions brought him joy, comfort, and laughter throughout his life.
Ralph lived a colorful and memorable life. He once appeared on Judge Mathis, was a member of the Elks Foundation, appeared on a NASCAR car, and even had the incredible experience of introducing ZZ Top at Red Rocks. He also enjoyed a unique moment in television history as an extra in the Perry Mason TV show when it was filmed in Denver. Above all, Ralph was a devoted Catholic and a proud member of Spirit of Christ Catholic Church, where his faith remained a constant source of strength and guidance. He was a friend to many and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 21, 2025, from 4:00–6:00 PM at Olinger Highland Mortuary and Cemetery, 10201 Grant St, Thornton, CO 80229, followed by a Rosary at 6 PM. These parts of the services will be webcasted.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at Spirit of Christ Catholic Church, 7400 W 80th Ave, Arvada, CO 80003, with a reception immediately following in the Reception Hall.
Graveside Service will be held at 2:30 PM, Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at Olinger Highland Mortuary and Cemetery, 10201 Grant St, Thornton, CO 80229.
