Raymond married Maxine Lee Damrow July 28, 1949 in Hettinger, North Dakota. Their union produced two daughters, Rene̒e Louise Munyon (Miller) and Lisa Ann Munyon. His granddaughter, Crystal Marie Miller, was born to Rene̒e Miller in 1995.
Raymond’s sense of humor was always commented on by all who knew him. He was a good storyteller and joke teller! He was good hearted. He became an accomplished meat cutter and practiced that trade for many years. He retired at 55 yrs. old due to a disability. He was also a good businessman and an accomplished bartender. He designed and wrote the blueprints for his Arvada, Colorado home. He loved electronics and was proficient at understanding them. He played football in high school and never stopped watching the game, as well as other sports. He did a brief tour of duty in the Army but was soon honorably discharged, after contracting tuberculosis. He beat the illness, he said, by riding a bike. He loved music and had fairly diverse musical taste.
He was a good man who lived a long life. Raymond passed away early in the morning on October 12, 2015 after struggling with kidney disease. Friends and family will greatly miss and remember him very fondly.
Raymond was preceded in death by wife Maxine Munyon; parents Richard Munyon and Francis Lane (Dutton). He is survived by daughters, Rene̒e Miller and Lisa (John Keeler) Munyon and granddaughter Crystal Miller.
