Funniest person ever, didn’t know him like that but he always make me laugh whenever he was around he made everyone laugh such a beautiful soul.

My Ricky used to bully me so much but I knew he meant no harm he was like my brother I could never do anything without him he made life worth living everything was so fun with him forever my alien I love you ricky

Ricardo was such a beautiful soul. For the many years I knew him, there was never one time that I felt unhappy around him. He was really like a brother. He always had the most beautiful eyes and the sweetest smile. He never failed to be there for me. Whenever I needed him he was there no matter what. I will always miss our therapy sessions and the advice ricky gave me throughout the years. He was always so silly and funny and I will always remember that. I could trust him with anything and he always put everyone before him. Knowing Ricardo was the best thing to happen to a lot of people. His soul touched so many people and was loved by everyone. Thank you for raising him to be such an amazing person. Although this is so heartbreaking, I know he’s safe in Gods arms. They will have the best time with him and they are so lucky to be with him. He will continue to be with all of us. Laughing with, and comforting us. How I love and miss you Ricky. Keep us strong.💙

I had the pleasure of teaching Ricardo in 4th grade my first year teaching. As a first year teacher I was nervous and inexperienced but Ricardo and his classmates made me feel appreciated and loved every single day. He was the life of the classroom - funny, entertaining, warm, and friendly. He was truly a ray of sunshine. He will be missed so much.

You guys made Ricky the best human being. He never failed to make me smile. On of my favorite memories of him were his warm soft hugs. He would give me so many hugs and tell me how much he loved me. He came on this earth so vibrantly. He showed me what it felt like to be loved. He made the funniest jokes and just knew how to make people forget about anything and everything going on in there lives. It was such a pleasure having him in my life and having a close bond with him. Thank you so much for gifting him life. Forever my brother Ricky’s world🤍.

the last field day i remember with him🤍.

memory of when we would sit next to eachother every math class and just mess around and be little class clowns❤️

When Ricky would send me silly photos to bring a smile on my face.

I am deeply saddened to hear about the tragic loss of Ricky. His vibrant spirit and joyful presence will be profoundly missed by everyone who knew him. It is heartbreaking to lose a young life to such senseless violence, and I can only imagine the pain you are experiencing. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this incredibly difficult time.

We have so many memories of Ricardo, it's so hard just to choose one. Ricky was a big part of our family and all our family and friends knew him from being at our house and enjoyed seeing him when they would come over. Thank you for letting us be apart of his life from a very young age . We enjoyed seeing him daily. He truly was a little brother to all my boys and were all going to miss him.

Our heartfelt condolences. We will miss Ricardo, classmate and friend. Ricardo had the most contagious smile. May you be comforted through the support of family, friends, and all who have known Ricardo, and receive peace in sharing fond memories. God Bless +.
With love, Vigil-Basting Family

I have one favorite memory of Ricardo. It was January 2020, he wanted a snow day so bad and we had an incoming storm he wrote the words "Snowday? " in his notebook and he had Mr. Van Etten take his picture as he held up his notebook with the cutest sad little puppy dog face begging for a snow day. We actually got a snow day!!! Ricardo owned that snow day and made sure everyone knew his wish came ture! RIP, Ricardo. You have impacted so many in a positive nature that your soul will live on forever. 💔🙏

Though tears may fall, memories of you will forever bring a smile to our face. He will be forever missed. ❤️ +.
