Born 5-23-1937 in Brighton, Colorado. At Age 17 enlisted into the United States Air Force and traveled the world while proudly serving his country, when he met and married Norma Jean Thomas, the love of his life, 59 years in 1956.
After retirement in 1975 he then went to work for the United States Postal Service retiring again in 1999.
Survived by daughters Cindy Woodruff (Paul), Connie Burns (Bill), grandchildren Jamie, Rob, Andrea, Ben, Alex, Ryan, Tori and Great-Grand Daughters Bridget, Lindsey, Audrey, Layla Grace and Hazel. Sibling Maryann, Sarah, Tom, Carol, and numerous extended family.
Proceeded in death by spouse Norma J. (2015), Sons Rob (1979), Jim (2007), and Mike (1999).
Bob will be fondly remembered for his continued generosity, his tremendous love of family and Country as well as his contagious laughter and sense of humor, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
