Robert A. Mercer, age 95, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2016 in Lafayette, Colorado. He was born on May 7, 1921 in Hardtner, Kansas to Steven Manley and Orilla May (Lyman) Mercer. He was the third born of 16 children. He was married to Mary Homedew. He had 5 Children, 14 Grandchildren,
35 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great- Great Grandchildren
Robert also served his country as a member of the U.S. Army in War World II in the European Theater.
Funeral Services are scheduled for Thursday, November 3, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the American Legion Post #180 in Keenesburg, Colorado with full military honors. He will be buried at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado at a later date.
