It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of our son, Robert. Robert James Nickerson passed away on December 1st, 2021 at the age of 39. He was born on September 2nd, 1982, to parents Bob and Renee Nickerson.
Robbie was a beloved son, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend to many. Though he faced many challenges that set him apart from his peers, Robbie had many lifelong friends.
His biggest passion was mechanics. He loved his dirt bikes and not just riding them but tearing them apart and rebuilding them. Robbie's love for mechanics even led him to spending time on the pit crew for his friend, Jeremy who raced Super Stock cars. He also loved camping and boating with family and friends and had a talent for playing the standup bass which he played in orchestra and jazz bands.
A memorial service for Robbie will be held Friday, April 15, 2022, 2:00 PM with a graveside service following at 3:00 PM. Guests are invited to stay for a reception following services. All services will be at Olinger Highland Mortuary & Cemetery, 10201 Grant St, Thornton, CO 80229.
