Robert Sr. was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. He remained a lifelong resident of Denver, where he met his wife Anita and raised his son, Robert Jr. He worked for many years as a skilled ironworker, fabricating structural steel. He was mechanically minded and liked to tinker, working on cars and other projects.
Robert’s favorite hobbies involved time spent in the outdoors: camping out, hunting, fishing, off-roading and exploring jeep trails in the mountains with his family. He also enjoyed food, growing hot chilies in the garden, and cooking for others, often taking the opportunity to barbecue or fire up the smoker. He was happiest spending time with his pets and enjoyed their company and silly antics. He appreciated a good joke and a laugh, and his sense of humor will be missed.
Robert is survived by his wife, Anita, son, Robert Jr., and extended family members. A celebration of his life will be held on June 2, 2023 at 10:00 am.
