Ruth (Hoffman) Klebe was born in Rolette County, North Dakota on November 10, 1924. She was born the 2nd of 8 children to Clayton and Grace Hoffman. She taught school for a short time before she was married to Sigmund Klebe on December 23, 1945. They moved to Thornton, CO in 1963, where they raised their 7 children. She worked at the Air Force reserve personnel center until she retired in 1987. Ruth enjoyed gardening, sewing, quilting, doing crossword puzzles, and jigsaw puzzles.
Ruth was proceeded in death by her daughter Barbara, her sons, Jerrold and Bernard, and her husband of 47 years, Sigmund. She is survived by her daughters, Rhonda and Deanna and her sons Cecil and Tracy, along with 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 4 great, great grandchildren. Ruth was preceded in death by her sisters Mary (Prouty), Harriet, and Hazel (Klein), and her brothers Arthur, William (Bill), John (Jack), and Lawrence.
On October 7, 2024, at the age of 99 years, 10 months, and 27 days, Ruth was granted, a peaceful and blessed death in Jesus. Her soul was lovingly taken to meet her Savior. Blessed be her memory.
A funeral service for Ruth will be held Monday, October 28, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Olinger Highland Mortuary, 10201 Grant Street, Thornton, Colorado 80229. Following the funeral service will be a graveside from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Olinger Highland Cemetery, 10201 Grant Street, Thornton, Colorado 80229.
