Sachiko I. Yoshimura, 95, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, November 11, 2023, surrounded by family. Sachiko, daughter of Hajime and Misao Imamura, was born on August 14, 1928 in Lomita, California.
Sachiko was preceded in death by Art, her husband of 70 years. She is survived by sons Dean, Don and Jay, 6 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
Sachiko worked for 30 years at the Federal Center Bureau of Reclamation in Lakewood Colorado.
She loved playing and watching every kind of sport, from softball/ baseball to football, basketball, bowling and tennis. She was an avid supporter of all her family’s sporting activities.
Sachiko had a zest for life, always positive and enjoying any and all challenges that came her way. She had an endearing smile and always had the ability to make everyone around her laugh. She will truly be missed.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 29, 2023 from 9:00 am- 10:00 am. The funeral service and will be at 10:00 with burial to follow, all at Olinger Highland Mortuary, 10201 Grant street, Thornton, Colorado 80229.
