She started her music career as music director in Boston and then in Springfield at Trinity Methodist. She moved to Colorado for its beauty and to be near Thurlow and Edna Lieurance, her uncle and well known composer. While living in Denver she was organist and accompanist at Park Hill Methodist and Englewood Presbyterian Church. She also served at Valley Vista Church and Sunrise Ranch.
She is survived by her 2 daughters Sharon Loyd and Carol Lupo (Phil Lupo) grandchildren, Brandon, Simon, Cameron Lupo, Marisa Gallardo.
