Sorry I did know about Sam's passing sooner. My deepest sympathy to the Miranda Family, especially Sandy.  I'll always remember the good times in high school with Sam and Sandy.  Sam was an exceptional athlete and a great friend.  God bless.

My sympathy to Miranda family. Sam was a true gift to his peers from the THS classes of 1974-1976. He was a superb athlete when healthy. He was a wonderfully charismatic individual who  made friends in all circles and was really the heart and soul of the class of 1976. 
In honor of Sam's life, I am going to dedicate the remainder of my years to help make this world a better place. Sam had a lot of love in his heart, and that love still exists; it's there for us to use for the betterment of our world. I think Sam would appreciate that gesture.

God be with Miranda family in there loss. We love you guys and Know Sam is in a better place.
