Sean Lee Umble

Sean Lee Umble of Thornton CO, died unexpectedly on June 23rd, 2023, from a heart attack. He was 51 years old. The family is deeply saddened and shocked by his sudden death. Sean was born on April 19th, 1972, attended Horizon High School, and lived in Thornton for most of his life.

Sean was an avid athlete in high school. He skied, played basketball and exceeded in soccer. In recent years he spent much of his free time playing pool, training, and caring for his dogs; Kobe, Chauncey, Cooper, and Higgins. Sean was a kind and generous soul, traits that everyone he knew experienced.

Sean is predeceased by his grandparents, Maria, Fritz, Ernest, and Floyd.

Sean is survived by his grandkids, Violet and Luke, his two sons and daughter in law, Connor, Rachel, and Ryan, his parents, Carl and Chris, his sister and brother in law, Sheri and Scott, his two uncles, Paul and Bill, his aunts, Peggy and Jo Ann, and his grandmother, Margret. We will miss him more than words can describe.

A memorial mass for Sean will be held Tuesday, July 11th, 2023 from 11am to 12pm at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 11385 Grant Drive, Northglenn CO 80233. A reception will occur Tuesday July 11th, 2023 from 12pm-2pm at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Inurnment/graveside will follow the reception at Olinger Highland Cemetery at 2:30pm
