Sebastian Lopez Hernandez, age 25 passed away on Friday, June 27, 2025 at North Suburban Hospital. Sebastian was born on November 21,1999, in El Paso, Texas, to Veronica Hernandez. He was raised in Thornton, Colorado, where he attended Thornton High School.
Sebastian was known for his humble heart, funny personality, and the way people naturally gravitated toward him. He enjoyed listening to music and always brought joy and comfort to those around him. Though he held no formal job, his presence was felt deeply by his family and community.
He is survived by his loving mother, Veronica Hernandez, his brother Louis Lopez, and his sister Jennifer Lopez. He is also survived by his grandmother, Maria de la Luz Montelongo, along with many extended family members and friends who cared deeply for him.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Luis Ramon Hernandez, and two uncles, Gerardo Hernandez and Francisco “Pancho” Hernandez.
A funeral service to honor Sebastian’s life will be held on Friday, July 11th, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Olinger Highland Mortuary & Cemetery, located at 10201 Grant St, Thornton, CO 80229. Family, friends, and all those whose lives were touched by Sebastian are welcome to attend and pay their respects.
