Stephen M. Hendrix

Passed away January 25th, 2013 peacefully with his family by his side and is now with the Lord.

Stephen was born November 2, 1961 to J.B. and Joan Hendrix in Sacramento, California. Growing up, Stephen was an outgoing child who loved being in the outdoors. He enjoyed playing Hockey, Football, shooting pool and picking on his little sister. He loved working with his Dad and learning the many skills of carpentry, which he continued to utilize throughout his life. Stephen took pride in being a very active member of his church and loved attending services with his Mom in Colorado Springs. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, archery, woodworking and spending time with his friends and family. He also never missed a chance to see his nephews perform in their bands. Sister: Stefanie Matheson (husband) Steven Matheson of Sheridan, WY. Nephew: Dave Matheson (wife) Ali Matheson and their daughter Amelia of Denver, CO. Nephew: Michael Matheson (girlfriend) Christina Gattis of Fort Myers, FL. Nephew: Jeramy Matheson of Denver, CO. Stephen’s Father, J.B. Hendrix preceded him in death in September of 1995. His Mother, Joan Hendrix of Colorado Springs, CO survives him.

Stephen is also survived by his son Jacob Hendrix of Thornton, CO, his daughter Amanda Hendrix and her fiancé Aaron Barbin of Thornton, CO, numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and his best buddies Kevin and Kate Mackay.
