

Born on July 24, 1956, in Alpena, Michigan. While Sue’s life took her to live in many different places through out it Alpena was always home.Sue was a dedicated wife to Senior Master Sergeant Michael D. Murphy and a loving mother to her son Adam. Sue found great joy in being a grandmother to her two grandchildren, Everett and Lorelei.
Sue's career as the Coordinator of Volunteers for the Cherry Blossom Festival allowed her to serve her community with passion and dedication. In her personal life, she found solace and enjoyment in activities such as gardening, cooking, sewing, knitting, doing laundry, solving word finds, and watching football.
Sue will be deeply missed by her surviving family, including her son Adam and his wife Leah Neumann, her grandchildren Everett and Lorelei Neumann, her brother Randy Hartman and his wife Cindy, her sister Shari Romel and her husband Paul, her brother-in-law Denise Murphy, as well as her aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
In the hearts of all who knew her, Sue will be remembered for her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love for her family and friends. May she rest in peace, knowing that her legacy of love and compassion lives on in those she touched.
