Loving family by his side, Takenobu Horiuchi passed away peacefully at his home on January 14, 2020, at the age of 85. He is survived by his two sons: Rick (Colleen) Horiuchi and Daryl Horiuchi; two granddaughters: Emilee and Amanda; two grandsons: Dak and Nikolas; sister Mitsu Stokley, brothers: Kenzo (Aiko) Horiuchi and Eigoro (Kumi) Horiuchi, and many nephews and nieces. He was the 6th of 9 children. He was preceded in death by his wife Shirley, his parents Bungo and Shigeko, his siblings: Seiji, Hisa, Shogo, Yayeko, and Hideharu. Tak loved bowling, golfing and spending time with family and friends.
A visitation will be held on January 20th, 2020, 3:30-6:30pm at Olinger Highland Mortuary, 10201 Grant Street, Thornton, CO. The memorial service will be on January 22nd, 2020, 6:30pm at the Tri-State/Denver Buddhist Temple, 1947 Lawrence Street, Denver, CO. The inurnment will be 10:00am at Elmwood Cemetery in Brighton CO, 14800 Old, Brighton Road, Brighton CO.
