Teddy Robert Wade

Teddy Robert "Bobby" Wade, of Thornton, CO, left this world on the night of January 31. 2022; He was 78 years old. Teddy was born on May 14, 1943 in Lamar, Colorado to Robert Jess and Peryl Blanche (Houston) Wade.

Bobby lived a very full and adventurous life. As a young man, he joined the U.S. Navy, deployed on the USS Coral Sea. He was very proud of his time in the service. When his time with the Navy came to an end, Bobby returned to Colorado and eventually started a family. He was a hard worker, and throughout his life he worked a variety of jobs. Bobby was very handy and mechanical, always working on some sort of project or fixing things around the house, the yard or various vehicles.

Bobby was a very passionate and loving man. He loved animals, and spoiled his pets rotten. He loved Coca Cola, and was never without a bottle nearby. Bobby adored his family and friends and was the type of man to do anything to help his loved ones, especially his kids and grandkids.

Bobby is survived by a large family, including his wife, Cathy; sister, Joanne; sons Artie, B.J. and Jason; stepsons, Todd, Travis and Trent, along with a multitude of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bobby made a huge impact on all who knew him, and will be very dearly missed.

A visitation for Bobby will be held Wednesday, February 16, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Olinger Highland Mortuary & Cemetery, 10201 Grant St, Thornton, CO 80229. A funeral service will occur Thursday, February 17, 2022, 11:30 AM, 10201 Grant St, Thornton, CO 80229. A graveside service will occur Thursday, February 17, 2022 at 1:30 PM at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, 4400 W. Kenyon Ave., Denver, CO 80236.
