Terry never met a dog he didn't like. Truth be told, there weren't a whole lot of plants or animals he didn't like. Contrary to his gruff demeanor, he probably never met a person he didn't like either. And everyone he met loved him right back. A true outdoorsman, brilliant storyteller, thoughtful listener, and a man of great faith, Terry lived his life to the fullest and embraced every new experience.
A fisherman, a Vietnam veteran, an accountant, an artist, a gardener, an avid reader, an impassioned debater... merely listing his accomplishments and interests only gets down a layer or two into the complex man some called Dad, some called "Unc", and a few called "Bota"- but honestly most people just called him Terry. He was one of those people who didn't need a nickname. Everyone knew who you meant.
The world is a less interesting place without him in it.
Terry will be laid to rest at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver. No services will be held. Memorial contributions may be made in Terry's honor to the Colorado Parks & Wildlife, online, by clicking the link below.
