On April 3, 1955 she was united in marriage to Duaine O. Sprague. They moved to Denver, CO where they made their home and had two daughters. Thelma was a housewife and child care provider for 40 some years. Her husband died in April 1978. Then in November 1978 she met her very special friend Hilmar Lund. They looked after each other.
She was baptized in California and was confirmed at Redeemer Lutheran church on December 18, 1960. She was also a member of Christ Lutheran Church. Her hobby was taking pictures. One of her great joys was her 5 grandsons and her great granddaughter.
Thelma Ann is survived by her special friend Hilmar Lund of Denver, CO—her two daughters, Deborah (Steve) Johnson of Souris, ND and Julia Williams of Denver, CO—Five grandsons, Duaine Johnson of Souris, ND, Casey (Kaylee) Johnson of Newburg, ND, Jeremy Johnson of Carrington, ND, Scott (Margaret) Williams of Thornton, CO, and Patrick (Anna) Williams of Littleton, CO – one great granddaughter, Lillian Williams.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, and her sister-in-law.
