Thomas Truman (Tommy) Mason III

April 27, 1988November 6, 2021

Thomas Truman Mason III came into this life with a Big Spirit, which would carry him throughout his life. “Tommy” as he was affectionately known, lived life to the fullest.

Born April 27, 1988, in Thornton, Colorado to Thomas Truman Mason II and Stephanie Lawson Mason. Tommy graduated from Bennett High School in 2007. Tommy began a career with ARC that would that continued for many years. He received a Master’s Degree from ARC University; Aureate award; and attended over 70 classes. Tommy worked at ARC Thrift Store in the men’s department from 2016 until recently when he became ill, always with a cheerful heart.

Tommy can be best described by his glowing vibrant smile that would light up any room. Tommy’s contagious smile came from his overflowing love of God, family, friends and America. Tommy was a social butterfly who loved being around people at All-Stars, ARC and many other events. When Tommy would walk into a room, everyone knew him. Tommy touched hearts from the Philippines to Nashville to all other parts of the USA. Thomas Truman Mason III was an ambassador of innocence, and love.

Tommy was a member of many organizations: ARC of Colorado ARC Ambassador All-Stars Club Global Down Syndrome – which Tommy played in football games with the Denver Broncos Foothills Baseball League Miracle League Easter Seals Explorer Program Younglife of Adams County

Tommy had many hobbies and interests; he was a devoted fan of Andrew Ripp, an American singer and Grammy-nominated songwriter based in Nashville. Tommy was a fan of all sports, including tackling professional Broncos players; a regular attendee of Night to Shine proms; dancing and karaoke; a faithful member of Thrive Church, he loved going to church; sharing that “Jesus is #1” with everyone he met; he loved his dog, Cookie; participating at ARC Ambassador meetings; and of course playing with his Woody and Spiderman action figures.

Tommy is survived by his father, Thomas T. Mason II, his life companion and enthusiast; mother Stephanie Mason; siblings: Katrinna J. Kirkland, Karen S. Mason, Nicole Moline and Michelle Mason; a host of nieces nephews; his dog Cookie; devoted friends: Andrew Ripp, Andrei Stringfellow, Dominick Rivera, Lloyd Lewis and a host of other friends. Thomas T. Mason III was here and he impacted many people’s lives while he was here.

“Well done, good and faithful servant.”

In Appreciation We extend to you our sincere gratitude for the kindness shown to us during our time of need. The cards, flowers, thoughts and kind words are deeply appreciated. A special thank you to Allstars Club, Lloyd Lewis, Dominick Rivera of ARC, Easter Seals, North Metro Community Services. May God bless and keep you. The Family of Thomas T. Mason III

We have many found memories of Tommy through football. His smile & love was like none other. My son Jayden always would & still mentions Tommy as he talks about playing football again. Myself truly loved Tommy just as much as so many others & we are so deeply saddened. Our prayers & love are with you Tom & family. We will never forget you Tommy, as Jayden says, "Tommy sweethearts" with tears in his eyes & a smile on his face. We will see you again our dearest Tommy.

I really don’t know what to say. I just told John-Caleb that Tommy went to be with Jesus, and he replied “Tommy be with Jesus.”
He will certainly be missed. We love Tommy.
