Titus Aaron Daniels passed away from his Earthly home, ran through the gates of Heaven and into the arms of Jesus on June 1, 2025, at the age of 9 in Aurora, Colorado. He leaves behind his loving parents, Tyler and Rachel, younger brothers, Talon and Trevin, younger sister, Reagan, three wonderful sets of grandparents, numerous aunts and uncles and a cousin, as well as a large number of extended family who will all miss him dearly.
Titus was born on October 21, 2015, perfectly imperfect, with a number of medical complications that would affect every aspect of his day to day life. Even though Titus did not live an ordinary life, his family made sure he lived it to the fullest. He traveled with his family all over the country with multiple trips to Disney World, cruises to Alaska and the Caribbean and more. He loved to roll around and play with his toys, including his favorite car toy that our family had a stockpile of for when one inevitably ran its course and no longer worked.
A “Titus hug” could cure a bad day for anyone who needed it. If he saw you in his line of sight he would grab you and pull you in for the best hug, often pulling your hair along the way. We often said we felt he was the closest thing to perfect on this Earth because of his inability to intentionally do any wrong. Titus only knew love, he loved all unconditionally. Titus was able to do and accomplish so many things that we never expected (we have a wonderful team of therapists and teachers to thank in part for that) and he was a fighter to the very end.
He will be forever missed by his family and all those that knew him. He will never be forgotten. In this time of grief and confusion as to why God chose to take him to his Heavenly home so soon, we find joy in the fact that his body has been made whole. No more pain and hardship for his little body.
These quotes hung on the walls in his bedroom to remind us how special he was:
"How cool is it that the same God that created the mountains and oceans and galaxies looked at you and thought the world needed one of you too."
"The things that make me different are the things that make me."
"Such a big miracle, in such a little boy"
A celebration of Titus’ life will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 2pm at the Crossing Church, 3501 W. 104th Ave Westminster, CO 80031.
