Tonya was strength. She lived for her children and family. She persevered through some of the most unfair life circumstances that were thrown in her path. And through it all she loved fiercely and surrounded herself with friends who cared for her with just as much love as she gave. She created the life that she wanted through it all.
You would never find her without some form of book on hand for every moment of downtime that would allow her to be immersed in a story.
She loved the mountains and camping as many times as she could during the year, enjoying the early morning quiet before anyone was awake, with a book and a coffee.
When it came to family she enjoyed talking to her daughter for hours, jumping from one topic to the next and all the way around again. She helped grow her oldest granddaughter’s love for playing games, from cards, to dominos, to Jenga.
She adored her husband Matt. They were the truest of companions all the way through her final moments. The kind of love that transcends everything, a bond that anyone can only hope to experience in their lifetime.
Tonya is survived by her husband, Matt Benore. Children Katrina Bishop and Anthony Benore, their spouses Lance Bishop and Sarah Benore. Grandchildren Lylah Bishop, Drew Benore and Andrea Bishop. Brother and sister-in-law Tim Talbot Jr. and Theresa Talbot. Her father (gramps) Tim Talbot and her grandmother Mary Lou Fox.
She follows in death her son Andrew Murray, her mother Sandy Talbot, her grandfather Bill Fox and her grandparents Virgil Talbot and Irma Talbot.
