Victor Guerrero was my co-worker for many years, and what I remember most of all is how he loved to share stories about his little girls. Victor is the same age as my kids, and because (at that time) they were living in other states, I really enjoyed our interactions.
Later, after I moved back east, Victor seemed to have more time to be on social media. We would argue politics, laugh at mutual jokes, talk about soccer, and there were always stories about his family.
I know that having his kidneys fail at such a young age was hard on him, and that he had a hard road to travel with all the required medical care. My solace is knowing that Victor is free from all his suffering and pain. Now he is watching over his loved ones from Heaven above.
Viaje seguro, mi amigo, ve con Dios.
