Victoria Weaver

NOVEMBER 12-1940 – SEPTEMBER 7, 2023

It is with great sadness the family of Victoria L. Weaver, 82 of Tomball, Texas (formerly of Northglenn, CO) announce her passing on September 7, 2023.

Vicky was born on November 12, 1940, to Evelyn H. and James A. LaFarr in Ft. Edward, NY. Growing up and attending schools in the Glens Falls area. She has 2 brothers, Albert J LaFarr and James A. LaFarr Jr.

In 1959 she was married to Robert Lee McKerrow Sr. of Newport, NY. They had 4 children together, Nancy Lee, Robert Lee Jr. (Winger), Nora Lee and Allison Lee.

After moving to Colorado in 1970 she was married to James Weaver, combining their families to include Jim’s 3 children, Todd James, Janice Loretta, and Scott Richard. Their union lasting for 45 years until Jim’s death in 2015.

Vicky had several different occupations in her life…Waitress, bank teller, receptionist, but her first and foremost favorite occupation was being a mom, Grandma, and a Great Grandma. She loved spending time with the family as much as they did her. Impromptu gatherings on a Sunday at her house, the kids playing basketball in the driveway, piling on her bed to watch a movie and us calling to find out what’s for dinner, because there was always something good for dinner!

She provided us with a beautiful home to live in, good food on the table and love…lots of love. She believed in all of us, telling us we could do whatever we set our minds to.

Vicky was predeceased by her parents, her brother Al, her husband Jim and daughter Janice Carrender.

She is survived by her children, Nancy Wellington of Frederick, CO, Robert McKerrow Jr. (Sue) of Newport, NY, Nora Bowles (Jerrod) of Houston, TX Allison McKerrow of Houston TX, Todd Weaver (Pat) of Englewood, CO, and Scott Weaver (Kim) of Strasburg, CO, and niece Kim LaFarr Bean (Jim) of Idaho. 14 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren.

There will be interment at Ft. Logan Cemetery, Englewood, CO at 12 noon on October 6,2023 followed by a celebration of life at Olinger’s Highland Mortuary 10201 Grant St. Thornton, CO 80229 at 1:30 pm.
