A happy day at San Diego, CA, on Oct 2008 for Maurice & Doris 35th Wedding Anniversary

Donny & Carmen Brown

March 17, 2019

Dearest Wanda, there is nothing more prized and deeply appreciated than your special generous friendship gift to us.
You have shared many moments with the Browns. You have kept them on a straight path. Your words were meant to correct and advise even when it may have been bitter to digest. It is a good thing they took heed of your mentoring. Lord knows where they would be now, had it not been for your passionate kindness
Wanda, your life has been an inspiring message to many others you have touched in your personal and professional lifetime. Like a butterfly you have gone through a great deal of darkness and yet still you have become such a beautiful person and soul. You, yourself was never lost in the fire, because you were built from it. You have left footprints that last, because you never walked on tiptoes. You step out of the Black history injustices that could have held you back. You had the fortitude to create a new story and legacy. You had a purpose, ambition, self confident and willingness to learn. You did not play victim role nor looked to be pitiful. You have stood up straight and have carried your head high with the universe in the heart.
Wanda you are really an amazing woman who has been able to lift and build others, who can not only love but be loved.
Wanda, do not worry that you may not hold our hand for now, because you have taken a hold of our hearts forever.
Con Amor, Donny & Carmen
