

Aaron Kenneth Fahr, 50, of Tigard, Oregon passed away on May 29, 2023. He was born on November 6, 1972, in Tucson, Arizona to Robin and Kathleen Fahr. He graduated from Grants Pass High School and went on to receive a Bachelor's degree in Business and Accounting as well as his Master's degree in Public Accounting from the University of Utah.
Aaron had a successful career in accounting, working for major international firms such as Deloitte, Ernst & Young, KPMG, and BDO before settling in as a Director at Andersen Tax Corporation. His interests outside of work included skiing, technology and taking his motorcycle and Audi out on the open road. He was also a devoted dog owner to his beloved companions, Tank and Rocky.
Aaron was deeply loved and admired by his family and friends for his strength, compassion, undeniable charm and wit. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his parents, Robin and Kathleen Fahr of Grants Pass, Oregon, his older sister Alycia Fahr-Zarlons, husband Dore' Zarlons and children, Iman Zarlons and Reza Zarlons of Eugene, Oregon, and his two younger brothers, Daniel and Jason Fahr of Grants Pass, Oregon. He is also survived by his uncles and aunts, Greg Fahr of Tucson, Arizona, Jon and Kila Fahr of Bend, Oregon, and his cousins, Michell, Shawn, Chantelle, Ian and Elany Fahr.
Aaron was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert and Evelyn Fahr of Tucson, Arizona, and his maternal grandparents, Ken and Lillian Stevenson, originally from Chicago, Illinois.
A Memorial Celebration and BBQ for friends in the Portland area will be held at Aaron's home on Saturday, June 17, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Inurnment will take place at The Forest in Ashland, Oregon, on Monday, June 19, 2023, at 1:00 PM. The Forest Conservation Burial Ground is located at 658 Shale City Road, Ashland, Oregon 97520 and is 18 acres within the 445-acre Willow Witt Ranch in the Cascade Siskiyou National Forest in Southern Oregon, 30 minutes from Ashland.
