Cathaleen Cathie Hope Babcock

Cathaleen Hope Babcock was born in Moose Jaw Saskatchewan Canada on October 18th 1960 to Dale Reid and Yvonne Margaret Babcock. In 1964 the family moved to Long Island New York and then to Connecticut where Cathie graduated from Ridgefield Ct. High School where she was very active in track and field, lettering in all running events. Her coach said she was the first student to come in during summer break to start training. After graduating from Ridgefield High School Cathie attended Denver University and then moved to Santa Paula, California where the family had relocated. She then moved to Portland Oregon where she began a career in the retail jewelry business.

Cathie was an animal lover and always had several dogs, cats, rabbits, mice etc. etc. etc.!

Cathaleen passed away on December 1st, 2015, after a short but valiant battle with Multiple Myeloma.

Cathaleen is survived by partner Daniel Holmes, son Keenan Depner, Step-daughter Brittany Holmes, parents Dale and Yvonne Babcock, Brother Dean Babcock, parents in-law Gene and Mona Depner, several brother's and sister's in law, as well as many aunts uncles and cousins.
