He is survived by his loving wife, Mary J. Kastel; and three sons, Chuck Kastel, Tim Kastel of Tigard OR and Todd Kastel of Gladstone OR. Sister and brother-in-law, Raelynn and Larry Johnson, sister and brother-in-law Dixie and Bud Horton, brother-in-law, Robert Erwert, Gardenville NV. Grandchildren, Nicole and Alison Kastel of Bay AR, Jordan and Madison Kastel of Newberg OR, Alex Carter of Gladstone OR, Daughters-in-law, Charity Carter of Gladstone OR and Susan Kastel of Newberg Or.
Chuck moved with his family from Wishram WA to Tigard in 1955 and graduated from Tigard High School in 1959.
Services will be held Monday, December 13, 2010 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Tigard OR at 11:00 a.m. A reception will be held at O'Reilly Hall following the mass.
