Darlene was born on April 27, 1948, to parents James D and Bonita ‘Bonnie’ Long in Silverton Oregon. After graduating from Gold Beach High School in 1966, she married Jay D. Moomaw from Gold Beach in 1968. They went on to have two children, Tracie Moomaw Sweet and Teri Moomaw.
Darlene retired in 2013 from an over three-decade career with First Interstate Bank, Wells Fargo Bank and Bank of the West. She was senior vice president and regional manager overseeing the Washington County area region. In retirement Darlene enjoyed traveling, wine tasting, golfing, and Jazzercise.
Darlene is survived by her husband, Jay D Moomaw, daughters Tracie Moomaw Sweet and Teri Moomaw, sons-in-law Rick Sweet and Fred Miller, grandson, Jackson Miller, brothers James W Long and Robert Long.
Services will be held at Young’s Funeral Home in Tigard on April 16, 2022 at 1:00 pm.
