He was born in Portland, Oregon on May 1, 1947. He was married to Judy Hunt Martin on September 28, 1968.
Dave had a career in floor covering for Dave Martin Carpet Service. He served in the Army and worked on helicopters in Vietnam for thirteen and a half months. Dave had passions for hunting, fishing, crabbing, backpacking, pets, and spending time at the beach house.
Dave was survived by his wife Judy Martin, children Julie Martin Lattiq and Jason C Martin, grandchildren Ashlie M Martin and Peter W Lattiq, great-grandchildren Kash Brewer and Claire Brewer, siblings Daniel Martin, Darell Martin, Dianne Holland, Darcy Brace, Leslie Brown and Eric Martin.
Funeral arrangements will be held at 2:00pm, January 14, at Young's Funeral Home.
