With heavy hearts, we celebrate the beautiful life of DeLorse Lewis—a devoted mother, cherished grandmother, beloved great-grandmother, and dear friend to so many.

DeLorse was a truly remarkable woman whose kindness, compassion, and unwavering love touched everyone she met. She had a gentle spirit, a warm smile, and a heart that welcomed everyone. Her positive outlook on life and her ability to see the good in every person and every situation inspired those around her. She lived her life with grace, generosity, and unconditional love.

Family was the center of DeLorse’s life. She was a loving and dedicated mother who provided strength, guidance, and endless support to her children. She is lovingly survived by her oldest daughter, Cynthia Nelson and her husband, Dann Nelson; her youngest daughter, Dawn Irwin and her husband, Mark Irwin; and her cherished daughter-in-law, Lynne Lewis, who remained a treasured and beloved part of the family. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, DeWayne Lewis, whom she loved dearly and now joins in eternal peace.

DeLorse was a proud and devoted grandmother to Jason, Jennifer, Jordan, Brittany, Austin, and Hayley. Nothing brought her greater joy than watching her family grow, celebrating each milestone, and creating lasting memories together. She was also blessed to be a great-grandmother to Callie, Aya, Kate, and Tyler, who brought immense happiness, laughter, and love into her life.

Those who knew DeLorse will remember her for her gentle heart, infectious smile, and the genuine care she showed to everyone she met. She had a special gift for making people feel welcome, valued, and loved. Whether offering words of encouragement, lending a helping hand, or simply listening with compassion, she made a lasting impact on countless lives.

DeLorse’s legacy is one of love, kindness, faith, and positivity. She taught her family the importance of compassion, resilience, forgiveness, and finding joy in life’s simple moments. Her greatest accomplishment was the family she loved so deeply, and the values she instilled will continue to live on for generations.

Though she will be deeply missed, her spirit lives on through her daughters, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, dear friends, and all whose lives were touched by her warmth and generosity.

As we remember and celebrate DeLorse’s life, we take comfort in knowing that love never ends. Her beautiful spirit will forever remain in our hearts, guiding us with the same kindness and grace that she shared so freely throughout her life.
