Shortly after meeting Fred on a blind date in Portland, Donna married Fred on August 31, 1956. Together they had two daughters, Jennie & Julie. Donna was a world traveler, and especially enjoyed traveling to Europe. Donna retired from the Tigard School District after teaching elementary school for over 30 years. She deeply loved nature, was very crafty, and enjoyed supporting her community and staying active in her social groups.
Donna was preceded in death by her husband Fred Journeay who passed on April 21, 2022.
Donna is survived by daughters Jennie (Craig) and Julie (Ryan); brother, Denny Jackson; and 6 grandkids, Taylor, Maddi, Connor, Tatum, Coleman and Teagan.
